Muay Thai is a combat sport called the “Art of the Eight Limbs“ because the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively. Practitioners execute strikes using eight points of contact which is what makes it different from kickboxing. It is a fast-past and aggressive style of fighting.
Women’s Only Kickboxing
In this women’s only program, we provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment focused on a healthy mind, body, and spirit. This class is a good fit for women who are tired of the same old gym routine and are interested in an alternative form of fitness.
We know that martial arts can change lives and put kids on a path to becoming a successful and healthy adult. Our Future Fighters and Little Warriors program focuses on strong character development through martial arts training.
New to Muay Thai? Great! This where you learn the fundamentals including proper stance, footwork, basic punches, kicks, the rear straight knee, and basic elbow techniques. Consistent training at this level will improve your cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength and prepare you for more advanced classes.
Our Advanced class is for students who have mastered fundamental techniques and achieved an advanced level of fitness. We make sure you’re ready before advancing; a trainer’s approval will approve your advancement before you move up to these classes.
